Porto Alegre is one of Brazil’s major cities. It is very easy to travel to this destination to discover its characteristic traditions, such as its typical dish, the “churrasco” (grilled meat) and a traditional infusion from the Latin American region called mate or “chimarrão”, as it is called here. The Porto Alegre calendar also has a series of excellent cultural activities, such as the Porto Verão Alegre, an annual theater festival.
