Fez is a historical destination that is home to the best-conserved ancient walled city in the Arab world. It is full of places of historical interest with interesting architecture, colorful nightlife and shopping opportunities. It is divided into three zones: Fez el Bali, the old quarter, Fez el Jdid, the new zone, and Ville Nouvelle, the French zone in the northeast of the city. The Fez el Bali Medina is the famous historical quarter and is full of traditional houses, ancient mosques, Islamic schools and markets, where you can enjoy the sounds and noise of the largest pedestrian area in the world. It is also home to many beautifully restored old hotels and a wide variety of Moroccan food.
