BODRUM

Bodrum is the city of the ancient Halicarnassus mausoleum, which is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Unfortunately, most of the mausoleum, which was constructed before the birth of Christ, was destroyed in an earthquake. Halicarnassus Castle can now be found in its ruins, and it has become the most famous image of the city. The castle is bordered by the spectacular surroundings of the sea and has become the emblem of Bodrum.
Enjoy its beautiful beaches, tour the best-known museums such as the Underwater Archaeological Museum or enjoy a Turkish bath. If you prefer more energetic activities, try water sports such as windsurfing or scuba diving and look for underwater treasures.
