Bariloche is located in the province of Río Negro, at the foot of the Andes mountains in the lakes district of south east Argentina. The city is famous for its nearby mountains, waterfalls, glaciers and truly wonderful landscape. As in most of the Patagonia region, sport is the king: skiing, snowboarding, mountain climbing and more. Also, the influence of German and Austrian architectural styles gives the region a special charm.
