Bali is Indonesia’s best-known tourist destination thanks to its beautiful beaches and excellent opportunities for surfing and scuba diving. This beautiful island offers visitors a charming landscape with palm trees, tropical forests and volcanic mountains. The numerous thermal springs and spas, fascinating exotic culture and ancient Hindu traditions make the island a really magical place. It is also known for its fine arts, such as dance, sculpture, paintings, gold, fur goods and a particular music style, especially when interpreted by a gamelan (a traditional Indonesian musical group). As well as being a tourist destination it is also a meeting place for the world of fashion, jewelry, footwear, furniture and decoration.
