Phuket is a colorful and cosmopolitan island, also known as “The Pearl of the South”. It has a mountainous interior and its coastal areas are blessed with beautiful white sand beaches and pretty rocky coves, all of which add up to unique beauty, ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear water of the destination. The most popular beach area in Phuket is Patong Beach on the west side of the island, where you can also find most of the nightlife and shops. The bay zone of Phang Nga is perhaps the most spectacular of all. It is a magical setting with a large number of spectacular rock formations that rise vertically from the sea, some of which are more than 300 meters in height.
