UPSALA

Upsala is a charming city in the heart of Sweden and is home to fascinating historical attractions such as its university, founded in 1477 and the oldest in Scandinavia. The small Fyris River flows through the city and divides it into two. There are some beautiful buildings around the main square in the heart of the city, one of them being the stunning cathedral that dates from the XVI century and is the home of the Archbishop of Sweden; there is also the Upsala castle from which you can admire the urban landscape. The Castle is home to several museums worth visiting.

How to get there

The best way to arrive to Upsala is via the Stockholm International Airport, then take a 50 minute train ride. Arlanda Airport is also an option, although its services are limited.
