MERIDA

Merida is the capital of the state of Yucatan. It is known as the “White City” or “White Merida”. It is known for its folklore, gastronomy, colonial architecture and cultural wealth which can be seen in the different archaeological sites in the surrounding area. The pre-Hispanic ruins in the area have made it one of the most important historical and cultural attractions in the state.

The city of Merida is connected to international destinations by the Manuel Crescencio Rejon International Airport which is located 7.2 km from the city and receives flights from cities such as Miami, Houston, La Habana and the most important destinations in Mexico.
